It’s a witch hunt through the ages. That sentence is a bet. If it did, you should look into Traveler. Alexandra Bracken. This novel is about Etta, Nicholas and their journey to find a missing object. It takes place over many years in various settings. They discover secrets, discover a lot about themselves, and find romance along the way. The first installment of a duology, Guest, has just been completed. Wayfarer, the follow-up to Guest, was released at the start of this year and after it had been completed. Passenger It is definitely on my TBR List.

It was initially difficult to understand this particular and I didn’t really appreciate it until I read fifty pages. After the initial fifty pages, I was hooked. book. I partially believe this is why I was not enthusiastic at the start of this. book It was a result of the fact that I was trying identify the direction and when this novel would begin. The story was well-written, well thought out, featured complex characters with inspirations that were easy to sympathize with. It was a wonderful story with just enough romance to keep your heart warm.

This story was fantastic. I recommend it to all who enjoy time travel, treasure huntings, history, and romance. Etta Spencer left everything behind to become a violinist. House was coach without any friends. She has only her gift, Alice, and her mommy. One night changes everything. She is drawn from her time and discovers deep keys. Her family, however, can’t travel through time like her mom. Etta was never taught this and has no idea how to do it. She is at a loss for words, and she doesn’t know how to survive without her music or her friends. So how can she make it to her mom?
Sophia Ironwood is awakened on a ship at sea. Sophia Ironwood was both angry and proud when she was sent to her time to take Etta to Grandfather. Nicolas Hall, captain of the ship, seems like a great man that she can trust. Sophia, however, has advised her to stay away from him. Who can she trust?
It seems that everyone wants something from her. Nicholas converts Sophia and Etta to Ironwood. free. Sophia gives Etta to Grandpa so he can finally see her potential. Grandfather wants Etta to find something that her mom kept long time ago. The offer: locate the astrolabe with hints left by her mommy and give it back to Ironwood. She reaches home just as risk-free as her mom.free. He promises that her mother will not die if you don’t. Rose must have a reason for leaving this world. Is she able to trust this man? Nicholas has been offered a deal to travel with her. He would however, without a doubt. Jumping from one website to the next, hint to hint, it’s a race for the astrolabe to reach her mommy in time. Rose didn’t want it in her hands, but she understands. She wants it to be destroyed.
As they face new risks, the two begin to care deeply for each other. She can’t leave Nicholas behind, even if her mommy can take her back. We end with the split of the two and an unlikely partnership that helps Etta to be found and protected.
I have to say that I enjoyed this story. It was well written and had complex, interesting characters. I loved Etta, Nicholas and Alice. Even though I didn’t love Sophia, her wishes were important to me. It was a great thing to have a family member who can travel with time and websites. It’s January, and the next installation will be available. This is an excellent, well-written and thoughtful read. I recommend it highly.
